Papers are invited on topics which are relevant, either specifically or contextually, to the Cornish language. Possible topic areas include, but are not restricted to, the fields of sociolinguistics, linguistics, including historical and meta-linguistics, language revitalisation, minority languages, Cornish literature and relevant cultural context.
Abstracts should not exceed 200 words and should include titles and affiliations. Papers should be planned for up to 20 minutes. The conference will take place online if it is not possible to meet at the booked venue at Penryn Campus of the University of Exeter.
There will be an opportunity for papers to be published on the Skians website, should the abstract be accepted. Abstracts should be submitted by Saturday 15th August and sent to: email@example.com
Contributors will be notified by 31st August 2020.

The Cornish Language Research Network is a collaborative venture set up by Cornwall College, the Institute of Cornish Studies, Akademi Kernewek and the Cornish Language Office. Its key objectives are:
To bring together research on Cornish, at all levels by:
providing an electronic database for research to include existing research, news of research in progress, calls for information and opportunities for collaboration.
holding an annual conference to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and discussion on an academic level, focusing on aspects of Cornish language and culture.
